Ok, I don't normally blog about things that don't have to do with Anna but I was so troubled by something today that I just had to!!
I have gone to Sonic almost every day since Happy Hour started and I have ALWAYS paid .97 cents for a large Dr. Pepper...ALWAYS!! I don't get any flavors added and all that stuff they ask me after I just told them I wanted a Dr. Pepper, not a Dr. Pepper with vanilla!! Anyway, I went today and ordered my large Dr. Pepper and she said it would be .99 cents. WHAT?????????? I mean two cents doesn't seem like much but just yesterday it was .97 cents. I asked the girl when she brought out my drink if they went up on the prices or and she looked at me like I just dropped out of the sky and said it's always been .99 cents for a large (regular) drink during Happy Hour. I told her (very nicely) that I had NEVER paid .99 cents for my Dr. Pepper during Happy Hour and she still just acted as if I was crazy. Heather, I hope you are reading this and will hopefully set me straight! If the price went up that's fine but I just need to know it did so I can sleep at night!

Oh my, I hadn't caught that extra two cents because I have added vanilla the last few times. They probably assume that just a tiny price bump won't be noticed. It's an outrage. Blame the economy. :)
I read on another blog that Sonic drink prices have gone up...The fellow blogger visits Sonic during happy hour as well...
Kelsey- YES! The prices went up last week on Spring Break. I was OUTRAGED, to say the least!!! I should have put out a news bulletin on the show!!! (BTW- don't you think the Sonic here should let me do commercials for them in exchange for free drinks?!?!?) Anyway- Yes it is true and it is even higher when you don't go during Happy Hour. What a shame!
I am proud of your "plain Dr. Pepper" order- it just warms my heart when other people love it as much as I do!!!!
